The challenge.
- Handling country-specific fiscal regulations (e.g., e-invoicing, tax reporting, police reports) across markets like Italy, Croatia, Albania, Hungary, Czechia, Malaysia.
- Need for middleware to connect Apaleo with external systems such as national tourist portals and government services.
- Lack of automation for events like deposits, folios, and webhooks, increasing operational burden.
- Custom integration work for each client, limiting scalability and slowing onboarding.

Our approach.
- Designed and built NestJS-based middleware apps that communicate with Apaleo APIs and external fiscal systems.
- Implemented Apaleo authentication and core endpoints (reservations, folios, units, invoices, deposits) in a multi-tenant architecture.
- Used n8n workflows to automate country-specific financial operations triggered by Apaleo webhooks.
- Standardized configuration so properties and regions can be onboarded through config, not code.
