The challenge.
- Fiscal compliance in Albania, requiring strict handling, signing, and submission of B2C and B2B invoices through the national fiscalization system.
- Disconnected food & beverage workflows, with no automated link between hotel operations and APICBASE, their inventory and recipe management platform.
- Manual payment processes, where staff had to coordinate and follow up on guest payments without automated flows.

Our approach.
- Developed a Node.js fiscalization middleware that integrates with Apaleo and Albania’s Fiscalization API, automating invoice signing and reporting for both B2C and B2B flows.
- Built a reliable APICBASE integration, synchronizing product, recipe, and stock data across mk | hotels to support F&B operations and reduce manual inventory tasks.
- Integrated RaiAccept (Raiffeisen Bank) with Apaleo to automatically generate secure payment links, allowing guests to pay seamlessly and reducing staff workload.
- Implemented event-driven automation with n8n, connecting systems through configurable workflows that handle transformation, orchestration, retries, and monitoring.
